The Austrian Member of the European Parliament, Lukas Mandl, was nominated to negotiate on behalf of the Group of the European People’s Party on a resolution called by its initiators “Prospects of the two-states solution for Israel and Palestine”. Here is Mandl’s speech in the European Parliament in which he emphasizes in particular the need of a security guarantee for Israel as a precondition for any kind of development in the regard of this European Parliament’s resolution.
