On Monday, 5 February 2024, Lukas Mandl has the honour of hosting an event in memory of Ibrahim Rugova at the European Parliament in Strasbourg.
Rugova was the visionary of non-violent resistance and the independence of Kosovo as an autonomous democratic republic.
Ibrahim Rugova would have celebrated his 80th birthday this year. In the run-up to Kosovo’s national day, Members of the European Parliament from many Member States and political groups as well as personalities from Kosovo will look back and also ahead.
