Lukas Mandl, Austrian Member of the European Parliament, criticized in the European Parliament’s plenary High Representative Josep Borrell for him verbally attacking Commission’s President Ursula von der Leyen for visiting Isarel and showing solidarity right after the begin of the terrorist attack October 7th, 2024. „Von der Leyen as well as the European Parliament’s President Roberta Metsola paying visits to Israel that very moment showed Europe’s alignment with the values of our civilization and true leadership by these two high-ranking ladies“, Mandl said.
