Reception of the lower Austrian studends representatives

Shortly before Easter, Lower Austrian MEP Lukas Mandl (2nd row, 6th from left) welcomed a large delegation of student representatives from Lower Austria to the European Parliament. The trip was organized by the Lower Austrian State Student Council under the leadership of Anna Papazyan and Immanuel Frühwirth. The young people, some of whom are attending vocational schools and apprenticeships, while others are attending grammar schools, technical colleges, or colleges, asked Mandl questions on topics ranging from daily parliamentary work to European security and Austria's role in the European Union.

Mandl says:

"The visit was invigorating and the discussion was excellent. With this new generation of committed young people, I look forward to the future. My generation has a duty and obligation to leave our world and our society in good condition, in freedom and peace."
